With the impressive Peñón de Ifach, symbol of the Costa Blanca, as a backdrop, the port is distributed into seven docks, with a capacity to take craft of up to 30 metres long. The installations have been remodelled to provide better services for its clients and the number of services offered has been increased and their quality improved. The club has a sailing school, social club, restaurant and library.

This sailing club is located in one of the quietest areas in the bay of Alacant, between the Sant Joan beach and the town centre, in a small dock that has a good range of harbour services for craft and crew members. It is home to one of the Mediterranean Sailing School centres, where introductory and advanced light sailing courses of different types are offered.

This school offers windsurfing introductory courses for children and for adults and also more advanced courses. It also offers beginners' sailing courses, as well as hiring out kitesurf equipment and instructors and windsurfing and surfing equipment.
