Dénia

Over 20 kilometres of idyllic coastline sketches out the horizon of Dénia. The sun and warm Mediterranean climate that bathes the beaches of Punta Raset, Les Marines and Les Rotes make this town in the area of La Marina Alta the perfect destination to enjoy the summer months.

The Castle is the crowning glory of Dénia, a town with an Arabic design and a plethora of Roman remains. The heritage here is simply incomparable and the town has its own archaeological museum. From the watchtowers, the battlements of the Castle, El Gerro Tower, to the foot of El Montgó Nature Park, you can see the testimonies left behind by history carved in stone.

Dénia’s 21st International Music Week

In terms of culture, Dénia's International Music Week is currently at its zenith. Following 21 years of success, this festival has become a cornerstone in the world of classical music. From 20^th to 28^th August, Dénia's Social Centre Theatre Auditorium will be home to performances by outstanding musical ensembles such as the Qusaxma sax quartet and the Archi Della Scala string orchestra. The sopranos Marta Matheu and Ana María Sánchez will be two of the prestigious guest performers taking part in the festival to the delight of the audience.
