The second Telefónica European Formula 1 Grand Prix, taking place in Valencia from 21^st to 23^rd August, will be watched by over 600 million television viewers worldwide. For the second year in a row, the city on the River Turia and the Valencia Street Circuit will be beamed into millions of homes.

The sporting activity begins on 21^st August at the circuit with free training sessions for Formula 1, GP2 Series, Porsche Cup and Formula BMW. When the professional sporting activity is over, it's time for the fans, as they can walk along the finishing straight of the Valencia Street Circuit, have their photograph taken under the starting lights and see the Pit Lane and the dock, all free of charge. On Saturday, as well as the spectacular Formula 1 qualifying sessions taking place at 2.00 p.m., the first races of the weekend will also be held, GP2 at 4.00 p.m. and Formula BMW at 5.30 p.m. And on Sunday 23^rd August, Valencia will bear witness to the second round of the Telefónica European Formula 1 Grand Prix, with the presence of Fernando Alonso, Luca Badoer as well as Lewis Hamilton and Giancarlo Fisichella, to name but a few.
