Benicàssim
Castellón Costa Azahar stretches from north to south, surrounded by impressive mountain ranges, a fertile land that sweeps down to the Mediterranean through its towns and villages. Borriol, Morella, Navajas, Xilxes and Montanejos, each municipality guards its own fine treasures: stunningly beautiful historic quarters, never-ending fine golden sandy beaches, magical coves and natural spaces brimming with a whole host of different flora and fauna.
Between the municipal districts of Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre, Santa Magdalena de Pulpis and Peñíscola, the Sierra de Irta Nature Park stretches before us, an idyllic place perfect for hiking, relaxing by the sea or enjoying the typically Mediterranean aromas.
The cork oak trees of the Sierra de Espadán Nature Park, situated between the River Mijares and the River Palancia, or the Columbretes Islands Nature Park, one of the most interesting places in the western Mediterranean, provide in themselves a perfect excuse to get to know the heart of Castellón province.

But there’s even more: with the arrival of spring, the province of Castellón becomes a delicious gift for the senses. Its 120 kilometres of coastline, the transparent waters of the Castellón Costa Azahar beaches, its outstanding warm climate and its rich historic and cultural legacy make this destination irresistible at this time of year.
It is practically impossible to stay away from the events proposed by Castellón, such as the XXIV edition of the Castellón de la Plana Alternative Fair, held from 11th to 14th March. A perfect occasion to enjoy good music, shows, a whole host of different workshops and, of course, the great atmosphere of the Castellón Auditorium Park.
